Attendees will learn from surgeon experts about QI methodologies, interventions, prioritization, and culture. During the second half of this session attendees will break into small work groups led by expert QI facilitators to simulate each step of selecting and conducting a formal QI project, culminating in a brief presentation of project results and experiences. This course is essential for novice QI leaders in a metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS) setting and is suggested for all members of the MBS team including, but not limited to MBS Directors.
